Most of Romes art can be traced to Greece. It was the Greeks architectural conventions that formed the basis of a style that would be adapted by romishs to reflect the aspirations and egotism awareness of their emerging Empire and to demonstrate their power. In my tot I would like to discuss two of many architectural marvels produced by papisticals: Colosseum and the Pantheon. The Romans were more materialistic in their way of thinking, so they were more involved in building amphitheatres, monuments, and aqueducts. Building basilicas, palaces, fodder buildings, and bathhouses was far more impor tant to the Romans for they could be used by! the Emperor and the greatness of the Rome. Here, it is fair to mention that the main terra firma the Roman government could build such enormous palaces, amphitheatres, introduction and government buildings were slaves who made up one third of Roman population.
